How to check your volunteer hours

Parents are expected to provide 20 volunteer hours for the GAC team per swim year.  You volunteer for specific jobs at GAC hosted meets or fund raising events, using a sign-up page on this web site.  The sign-up pages are published well in advance of the GAC meets and events.

The 20 hour total is per swimmer's family. The parent's volunteer hours are summed, for example 7 hours by one parent and 13 hours by the other would satisfy the 20 hour requirement. This example is true for a family with multiple swimmers.

There is a penalty of $50 per hour for volunteer hours not completed by the end of the swim year.
