Montana Swimming would like to celebrate all our athletes who are attending the 2025 Senior Zones and Age Group Zones teams this year! A roster of all the qualifiers who competed at the meets are below.

2026 Western Zone Senior Championships
July 28 - August 2, 2026
at the Clovis Swim Center in Fresno, CA
This meet is for swimmers 19 years and younger as of July 28, 2026.

Age Group Zones Time Standards:
Qualifying Time Period: August 6, 2025 through the entry deadline (correlating with the meet contract)
Time Standards: The Montana Age Group Zones Championship Time Standards will be the 2024-2028 USA Swimming National Age Group Motivational Time Standards - “AA” combined Age Group Standards: 10&U, 11-12, 13-14 for both genders. The "AA" time must be in an event offered for the athletes age group.
"AA" qualified swimmers will be entered into events using our LSC bonus swims.
Each LSC is limited to 160 bonus swims (and just one bonus in the races 400 meters and above).
Swimmers with "AAA" times have the priority in age division events including bonuses and they will be entered in 6 races.
If we exceed 160 bonus swims, then swimmers with "AA" times will be entered in 5 races each.
Coaches will enter as many relays as possible to give swimmers extra swims.

Registration fee for 2026 Age Group Zones is $ per swimmer.
In 2025 the fee helped cover a portion of the costs and Montana Swimming covered the remaining cost for the following:
- 3 Silicone Team Swim Caps
- 3 Arena Team T-Shirts
- 1 Arena Team Backpack
- 1 Team Bucket Hat
- Snacks and drinks for 4 days
- End-of-Meet Froyo Party
- Athlete surcharge and individual entries

**Age Group Zones hard cut qualifiers guaranteed 6 individual events with only 1 qualification time**.
Registration fee for 2026 Senior Zones is $ per swimmer.
The registration fee will help cover a portion of the costs and Montana Swimming will cover other costs. For 2025, parents must travel with their swimmers. Swimmers stay with their family at the meet. There is no team travel.

Please note: The Senior Zones package does not include the athlete surcharge or individual event entry fees for the swim meet. Club coaches are responsible for submitting athlete entries via USA Swimming OME (Online Meet Entry) and must select the credit card payment option (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover). The meet director will combine Montana athletes into Team Montana. The meet contract is posted _____.

2026 Team Gear: The deadline to order team gear is _____________. (This is the Wednesday after the Firecracker Meet in Missoula, Montana). Orders placed after the deadline may not be embroidered and all gear may not be received prior to the meet.

Officials Reimbursement: The Western Zone is the only Zone that will reimburse officials for working 80% of either (or both) of the long course zone meets. Last year the Western Zone took two excellent programs, for each meet, and consolidated them into a single usable workable program - Officials Reimbursement Program for each Meet. Money is generated from each long course meet and distributed to any Western Zone certified official based on the criteria of working 80% of the meet and participating in the mentoring program. The SCY Zone meet does not qualify for reimbursement at this time.
