Triumph Swimmers Make Team History at the 2025 Missouri Valley Senior Championships
Last month, nine swimmers from Team Triumph traveled to Wichita, Kansas, for the 2025 Missouri Valley Long Course Senior Championships. After months of dedicated training and preparation, this group of Warriors was eager to showcase their skills.
They emerged with an impressive total of 46 personal bests, with every swimmer qualifying for the finals in at least one event. Each Warrior who participated delivered remarkable performances.
Phoebe Atkins, 13, was in pursuit of a new AAA time. She pulled it off, swimming a 50 Freestyle in 29.18 and qualifying for Zones! This fantastic performance included a drop of over a second.
Riley Tinsley, 17, a rising senior, also had an outstanding meet. He improved his times in all six events, securing three new A times and one AA time! Tinsley placed 5th in the 50 Breaststroke and 7th in the 50 Freestyle. With a time of 26.12, he is now just a second shy of a AAA time.
Isaac Harrington, 16, experienced time drops in every event. He achieved an A time by dropping 5.58 seconds in the 100 Breaststroke, earning a spot in the meet's A final. Harrington also had significant improvements across several events, including the 200 IM and 200 Breaststroke.
