Team Triumph on the Rise: Athlete Success Stories and Program Milestones

Amelia Gordon

In just five years, Team Triumph Swim Club has evolved from a startup program into one producing athletes who are standing out at the local, state, and regional levels. Its structured, year-round training model is delivering measurable results—reflected in championship wins, college commitments, and breakthrough performances across all age groups.

Among the team’s rising stars is Jack Campbell, who recently qualified for the USA Swimming Sectional Championships in the 200-yard butterfly—a prestigious regional-level meet featuring top swimmers from across the Midwest. His qualifying time of 1:58.99 places him among the best in his age group and marks a significant step forward for both his development and the club’s competitive presence.

Campbell isn’t alone in his achievements. Tobias White has also earned Sectionals qualifications in the 50- and 100-yard freestyle events, strengthening the club’s sprint profile. Meanwhile, Tiago Deluca capped off his senior season by winning multiple titles at the Missouri Valley Championships and securing a Division II swimming scholarship to Rockhurst University in Kansas City. He will be joined at Rockhurst Swim & Dive by his fellow Triumph teammate BatBileg Bataa. These signings highlight the club’s ability to support long-term athlete development and college readiness.

At the age group level, swimmers like Kayla Perrone and Zach Felten have established themselves as some of the top young talents in the region. Both have represented Missouri Valley at the USA Swimming Central Zone Championships, an honor reserved for the most competitive swimmers in each state-level committee. Their consistent presence at high-level meets reflects the strength of the club’s development pipeline.

In addition to individual success, Team Triumph has steadily climbed the team rankings at both the Missouri Valley Championships and District meets each year. The club continues to grow its presence across all age groups, with a deep roster of swimmers qualifying for postseason competition and contributing to the program’s rising reputation across the region. From developing athletes to future collegiate swimmers, Team Triumph is building a culture of consistency, growth, and competitive excellence.
