Coach Mike Witt started his coaching career in 1986 with the UNO masters club and since then has coached under two USA Olympic coaches, the University of Texas, The Longhorn Aquatics Club in Austin, James Madison University, Triton Swimming and St. Margaret Mary School in Louisville, Kentucky. He is currently the Pius High School head swim coach. His passion for the sport of swimming and experience as a coach is a great addition to our great staff.  

Two more GNST swimmers commit to swim in college. Robert Bryant and Melanie Jacobsen, 2014 graduates of Pius X High School, will swim for Nebraska Wesleyan University next year.  Congratulations and good luck!  

Recently, Eagle Scout and GNST swimmer, Wyatt Vandenhul, received with a Medal of Merit Award from the National Court of Honor, Boy Scouts of America. These medals are presented to scouts who've performed an act of service of rare or exceptional character that reflects an uncommon degree of concern for the well-being of others.
