Stay connected - ACE communication methods

Each person tends to have a preferred method in which they like to access their communications and up to date information.

ACE has several means of providing our information and team communcations so you can stay connected as much as you wish.
 
We recommend ACE parents:

1. Download the SE Motion mobile app to your smart phone. This app, which is available for both apple and android products, connects to your ACE account and is a great way to access information when your are on the go. In the settings, be sure to enable Push Notifications.

2. On your computer or tablet, bookmark the ACE website to your browser and save your password. Most of our information is only accessible by logging into your ACE account. Looking for the contact info for your. swimmer's coach, go to https://www.gomotionapp.com/team/mwsace/page/system/coaches

3. Be sure you are receiving the ACE emails. If not, please check your spam filter. Our emails look like: 'Coach insert name' via SportsEngine Motion.

When sending emails your swimmer's coach, Please allow the coach up to 2 business days to respond to your email. Often times they are not able to respond immediately as they are either coaching the swimmers, or working at their primary job.

If you are not receiving emails, check your junk/spam folder and be sure to mark the SportsEngine Motion emails as Not Spam.  Add the ACE notification email addresses as a "safe sender."  In Gmail, check all category tabs for the email: Primary, Promotions, Social, etc. If it is still not found, they must check via the email host's web interface, not just the app.  For example, a member with a Yahoo email address would log in to yahoo.com to check the junk/spam folder.

4. Subcribe to the specific ACE practice group calendar for your swimmer AND the ACE events calendar for upcoming meets and team events.  Instructions how to view, print and/ or subcribe to the ACE calendars are located at https://motion-help.sportsengine.com/en/articles/8537374-expert-in-5-minutes-calendar

5. Follow ACE on our social media platforms on Instagram and FacebookThe ACE coaching staff adheres to USA Swimming Safe Sport/ MAAPP policies regarding social media and electronic communications

ACE also has a Facebook ACE Otters Swap-N-Shop page exclusively to connect with other ACE families to purchase gently used equipment such as parkas, fins, paddles, pull buoys and more from fellow ACE families.

6. Occasionally, ACE will send out SMS/ text messages for late notice changes, swim meet timeline changes, severe weather issues, etc.  In order to receive those text messages, you  must VERIFY your cell phone number within your ACE account .
