Swim camps are a personal option for many families.  Below are several camps in the Midwest.  ACE has no affiliation with any of these camps/ organizations.  This is provided simply for your information. 

 

2024 UNO Mavericks Swim Camp    June 10th - 13th, Ages 8-14

 

2024 Nebraska Wesleyan University Swim Camp   June 3rd - 5th, Ages 9-18

The NWU Stroke Technique program is designed to provide competitive swimmers with a better understanding of swimming fundamentals. Stroke refinement along with constructive feedback will be the focus of the camp and allows each participant to gain a greater knowledge of proper stroke mechanics and ways to improve themselves individually.Additionally, ACE has been given a special coupon code for a $40 discount off tuition fee. 2024 SDSU Jackrabbit Swim Camp.   Session 1: June 2 - 6th / Session 2: June 9 - 13th, Open to 2nd - 12th graders

The camp is focused on breaking down each stroke and building it back with proper technique that directly relates to reducing drag, increasing power and speed.  It is a perfect place for swimmers aged 8-18 to reiterate the skills they can carry throughout their swimming careers.    It is a fun and educational opportunity for all swimmers.

 

2024 USD Coyote Swimming & Diving Camp    June 9th - 14th,  Ages 8-18

Training at the USD Swimming & Diving Camp focuses on both physical condition and superior stroke and board technique. Camp includes one hour sessions focusing on swimming & diving specific dry-land, strength training and flexibility exercises. Two daily sessions focus specifically on technique work. Each athlete will also receive video analysis of their strokes and dives while at camp.

 

2024 Augustana University Nike Swim Camp   Session 1: June 3 - 6th / Session 2: July 15 - 18th, Ages 8-18

Through a combination of hands-on instruction, personalized feedback, and engaging lectures, participants will dive into various aspects of performance from goal setting and mental training, to strength and conditioning, and nutrition analysis.

 

2024 University of Kansas Swim Camp    May 27th - 31st, Ages 8-18

2024 University of Missouri Swim Camp

Mizzou Swim Camp offers a Start and Turn Camp - The most vital components of any race are starts and turns. With a focus on power, speed, and efficiency, the Start and Turn Camp will help campers maximize their race potential. This popular camp is designed to enhance starts, turns, and breakouts for all four strokes and is open to all swimmers age 8-18. To enrich your experience and gain a competitive edge, add on the Tiger Technique Camp or Training Camp. Additionally there is also an All Around Camp -The All Around Camp is aimed to take all of the knowledge of the Mizzou Coaching staff and merge everything together. We will be teaching stroke technique, starts, turns, training, and race strategy. We will leave no stone unturned to make your camper better. With these changes will come an additional day of camp, so our camps will run Sunday evening to Thursday morning.

It is highly recommended, but not required, that swimmers have some form of competitive experience (summer league, high school, YMCA, USA Swimming) prior to attending camp. Camps are not learn-to-swim programs.

 

2024 Minnesota Swim Camps

The goal of the Minnesota Swim Camp is to help build a solid foundation for girls and boys to achieve the highest level of performance. Age-group and Training camp participants will have numerous opportunities to learn, practice and have fun. Instruction will be based on the age and experience of each camper. We provide a positive environment to develop stroke technique, training, nutrition, mental preparation, etc.; the key components of swimming excellence.

 

The camp will be held at the beautiful UM Aquatic Center and the historic Cooke Hall pools. There will be a balanced blend of long course and short course training. Swimmers leaving this camp will have an enhanced perspective about the sport and greater knowledge of the steps necessary in achieving their goals.

 

 

2024 University of Wyoming Swim Camp

Wyoming Swim Camp, held at the beautiful University of Wyoming campus, is a premier summer swimming experience and is proud to offer its winning tradition to competitive swimmers.  Coach Johnson stresses  the importance of outstanding stroke technique and training in a positive environment.  The University of Wyoming offers the chance to train at 7200 feet, the highest for a Division I school in the United States.
