MWR THUNDERSTORM AND LIGHTNING POLICY
We will do our best to communicate any delay or cancelation via our team Sports Engine Messaging App as well as social media. Parents are expected to use their best judgement whether to bring their swimmer to practice sessions. If severe weather is imminent, we ask that parents stay on site in the event swimmers are dismissed.
NSA Specific Naples Aquatics Thunderstorm and Lightning Policy: “To ensure the safety of all swimmers and Aquatics staff. When thunder is heard or lightning is seen, the indoor pool will be cleared and closed. The Aquatics staff will monitor the weather and reopen the pool 30 minutes after the lightning or thunder stop.”
