Our team is a year-round competitive USA Swimming team offering high quality, professional coaching and technique instruction for all ages and abilities. The goal of our team is to promote a lifetime of wellness through the sport of swimming in a safe and inclusive environment. 

Training Group Expectations

 

All swimmers, regardless of training group, should arrive to practice on time with

a positive attitude and ready to work!!!

Gold:

- Arrive on the pool deck promptly, look at the warm-up and get started on the warm-up with minimum direction from coaches.  Have a filled water bottle and equipment in front of lane.

- Equipment should incude: Mesh bag, extra pair of goggles, swim cap, kickboard, fins, pull buoy, snorkel and paddles.

- Swimmers are held responsible for understading their intervals and leaving the wall when appropriate.

- Practice attendance is expected to be 4-5 times a week.

 

Silver:

- Arrive on the pool deck promptly, look at the warm-up and get started on the warm-up with minimum direction from coaches.  Have a filled water bottle and equipment in front of lane.

- Equipment should include: Mesh bag, extra pair of goggles, swim cap, kickboard, fins, and pull buoy, and snorkel. Optional item: hand paddles.

- Swimmers are held responsible for understanding their intervals and leaving the wall when appropriate.

- Practice attendance is expected to be 3-4 times a week.

 

Bronze:

- Arrive on the pool deck and head over to practice location 5 minutes before the start of practice.  Coaches will give directions for warm-up and then swimmers will get in the water and start.  Have a filled water bottle and equipment in front of lane.

- Equipment should include: Mesh bag, extra pair of goggles, swim cap, kickboard, fins, and pull buoy.

- Swimmers are expected to be working to learn how to use the pace clock proficiently.  Coaches will help with send off times for most of practice but not all.

- Practice attendance is expected to be 2-3 times a week.

 

Developmental 1:

- Arrive on the pool deck and head over to practice location 5 minutes before the start of practice.  Coaches will give directions for warm-up and then swimmers will get in the water and start.  Have a filled water bottle and equipment in front of lane.

- Equipment should include: Mesh bag, extra pair of goggles, swim cap, kickboard, and fins. Optional Eqiupment: Snorkel and Hand Paddles

- Swimmers are expected to listen to directions carefully and are encouraged to ask questions when unclear on directions.  .

- Practice attendance is expected to be 1-2 times a week.

 

Developmental 2:

- Swimmers should arrive to practice 5 minutes priot to start time. Swimmers are to head over to the designated practice location and wait for their coaches to give them directions for the day.

- Equipment should include: Goggles, Kickboard, Fins, and a swim cap. Optional: Paddles, Pull buoy, and snorkel.

- Swimmers are expected to listen to directions carefully and are encouraged to ask questions when unclear on directions.  .

- Practice attendance is expected to be 1-2 times a week.
