Koury Natatorium
The North Carolina Aquatic Club has its home in the Maurice J. Koury Natatorium located next to the Dean E. Smith Center on campus at the University of North Carolina.
Built in 1986, Koury Natatorium is one of the finest pools on the east coast. It was the site of the 1987 Olympic Festival, the 1989 US Short Course Nationals, the 1992 Masters Nationals, as well as the frequent site for the North Carolina State High School and Atlantic Coast Conference Championships. In 1999, Koury hosted the Special Olympics swimming events.
The pool is 50m long with two movable bulkheads to allow for a double 25-yard or 25-meter course configuration. The Koury Natatorium has ample spectator seating and plenty of deck space. There are coaches offices and locker rooms just off the pool deck. Two all-digital scoreboards display results to spectators and competitors during competitions.
Koury Natatorium is grounded for lightning (this means that practices and competitions will not stop during thunderstorms).
Entering onto Koury pool deck: NCAC swimmers can enter pool deck only after UNC athletes have finished their practices. UNC practices end at 4:30pm on Mondays and Wednesdays and 4:45pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

Heritage Hills Recreation Club
North Carolina Aquatic Club has a secondary home and partnership with the Heritage Hills Recreation Club located 10 minutes away from Koury Natatorium.
This heated outdoor facility is 25m long with 8 lanes along with a connected diving well. Heritage Hills has a large amount of deck space. There are locker rooms just off the pool deck.
Heritage Hills has ample parking. Please park in the back lot. When driving to and from the Heritage Hills facilities, please take extra care and consider your speed traveling through the neighborhood. Speed limit is 20mph.
NO PARENTS ON POOL DECK at either facility
Coaches and athletes perform better when focused. For this reason, parents, we need your cooperation to ensure that no parents are on the pool deck before, during, or after the practices. You may sit in the stands if you stay at Koury during practices. You may hang out in the parking lot or on the premises outside of the fence if you remain at HH during practices (you may enter to use the restrooms).
Combining these facilities and these features help make NCAC one of the best-equipped swimming programs in the country.
