MMSC 10 and under swimmers compete at the ND State Championship Meet

The Mandan Marlins had 21 swimmers competing at the ND 10 and under State Meet this past weekend in Bismarck. 

The swimmers did an Amazing job ranking 5th as a team in points!  MMSC ranked 6th in 2024 and 7th in 2023/2022.

We had 2 State Champions:  Josie Bungum in the 9/10 breaststroke and Briella Kurtz in 8 and under 25 breaststroke.

Three team records were set:  Mara Bungum in the 25 freestyle and Briella Kurtz in the 25 and 50 breaststroke.  

** Mara Bungum received the 3rd place High Point Trophy overall for 8 and under girls. **

Marlin swimmers earned a number of silver and bronze medals and Top 8 medals.

Marlin swimmers who competed for the first time, placing top 16, swimming on relays, contributed to the team points and spirit on the team.
