Mandan Marlins Swim Club State Team places 5th at the ND Long Course State Championship

Congratulations to the whole Mandan Marlins Swim Club State Team for their 5th place TEAM finish.

The Mandan Marlins had a total of six individual State Champions at the North Dakota State Championship.

      Briella Kurtz    9 – 10 Girls 50 Breaststroke

      Joe Tamisiea   13 – 14 Boys 50 Butterfly, 100 Butterfly and 100 Freestyle

      Kye Knodel   13 – 14 Boys 400 Individual Medley and 800 Freestyle

The 13 - 14 Mixed Relays were State Champions in all four relays AND set the State Record in two relays. Congratulations to Grace Opolka, Ava Francis, Claire Seidling, Joseph Tamisiea, and Kye Knodel for being on these Champion relays!

This 5th place completes our 2025 clean sweep: 5th place at the 10 under State Championship, 5th place at the 11 over State Championship, and 5th place at Long Course State Championships!
