Kim Vandenberg 2008 Olympic Medalist, 2011 Pan American Champion 200Fly, placed 3rd 200Fly at the 2012 Olympic Trials, visited practice at McDermott Pool in Warwick. Chuck knows Kim through several USA Swimming National Team Trips and Camps. Kim was in town giving a Formula One Clinic and agreed to come speak at our practice. This past Saturday, coaches Kim Bray and Jessica Morrison took the Mini group on a hike up Blue Hills. Blue Hills Reservation, located in Milton, MA reaches 635 ft. in height! The group ventured to the top to have a snack and took pictures from a tower overlooking the Boston skyline! On their way down, they ran into a turtle and salamander. Then, they enjoyed the reservation's zoo of otters, owls, hawks, deer and even fed the ducks!

2014 Arena Grand Prix at Charlotte The fifth stop takes the Arena Grand Prix Series to North Carolina. Chuck and I would like to extend our collective gratitude to all the "non-athlete" supporters of the Bluefish Swim Club. The last few weeks have been a true testament to our dedication to providing amazing opportunities to our athletes. Between Wheaton College trials/finals meet, New England Senior Championships, senior training trip, double practices at home and then hosting this new BU competition, it has been a very busy few weeks without considering the holidays!
