LCAT 2023 Registration Now Open

Jeanette Skow

LCAT Families,

Each September, we begin our new “swim year.” This is the time when families must re-register their swimmer with LCAT by completing the team registration, which includes reading and acknowledging several policies.

In addition, each swimmer will also need to have their USA Swimming membership renewed. The process is a little different than years past due to the launch of USA Swimmings SWIMS 3.0 system. Please follow the instructions below (whether you are new or returning).

Registration is a two-step process.

STEP 1LCAT Registration is required by completing all steps in the electronic LCAT registration portal by clicking here. You will be required to pay the $40 annual registration fee per swimmer to complete the team registration.

STEP 2USA Swimming Membership is required by completing all steps in the USA Swimming Online Membership Registration (OMR) system - the following link is specific to our team:  LCAT OMR Link. Please be aware that you will be required to create a new USA Swimming account (Deck Pass is being eliminated) and that all swimmers’ USA Swimming IDs are also being changed to a different number.

All LCAT swimmers, regardless of group level or age (this includes masters swimmers), are required to be members of USA Swimming in order to participate at practices and meets. Membership must be renewed each year. The current rate for "premium" membership is $78. There is also the option for "flex" membership at the rate of $30 (this is for 12 & under athletes only and the swimmer is limited to compete in only two meets; flex membership can be upgraded to premium membership during the season). Please be prepared to upload your swimmer's birth certificate if they are under 18 years old and they are new to USA Swimming.

Please keep in mind that BOTH steps listed above are required for your LCAT online account to be activated and stay active, as well as for your swimmer to be eligible to participate in practices and meets.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions. We will also address the registration process at this Sunday’s parent meeting.

Thank you,

Jeanette
