Invitation to Connect with LCAT Families on "Band" App

LCAT Families,

We are so excited to continue growing our team and we are proud to have you as part of the LCAT family! In the interest of helping families stay connected (and at the wonderful suggestion of one of our members), we have created a virtual social network for each of the practice groups.

The platform we’ll be using is called “Band” and it can be accessed via the Internet at band.us or by downloading it for free from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

The intent of setting up the groups is for the families within each practice group to be able to connect with each other as desired (such as setting up car pools, arranging for equipment or swimsuit exchange, getting each other’s phone numbers, etc.). Posts/comments will be moderated and should generally stick to LCAT-related content.

We will still be using our website for TeamUnify-generated communications as the official form of information to be disseminated to the team. So please continue to monitor those emails coming from coaches and board members. (Note:  The only exception to this is Senior group, which does use Band for official notices as well.)

Each group may join using the following links. When setting up your profile, please include your swimmer’s name so it is easy for others to identify you. You can also choose to make your phone number private or public. Please also be sure to adjust your notification settings accordingly within the app and on your device.
