This Week At NTN

Jason Roberts

Dear NTN Families,

Below is this week’s update for the North Texas Nadadores. Please review all information carefully, as it includes important details regarding upcoming events, schedule changes, and team activities.

🗓 Practice Changes and Updates
Please note the following schedule adjustments:

  • December 12 – All Junior Groups (A & B) will be offered a practice at their regular times due to Saturday’s meet.

  • December 13 – NTN Home Swim Meet

  • Christmas Break Schedule will be released this week. Please check your email for details. A few practices will be held at the Grapevine–Colleyville facility.

🏅 December MAC Meet
Our swimmers did an excellent job competing under challenging conditions. While best times were difficult to achieve, many athletes matched or surpassed their previous performances. Congratulations to all swimmers for their effort and determination.

A special congratulations goes to Coben Horner for earning another TAGS cut, this time in the 100 freestyle.

🏊 NTN December Invite
Registration for the meet is now closed. We are excited to have a large group of NTN swimmers, along with many visiting teams, competing at our home pool this weekend. We will need as many volunteers as possible—please sign up promptly. Additional meet information will be shared soon, so please monitor your email for updates.

Sunday Parking Notice
The school has informed us that a large event will take place this Sunday in the front parking lot, including food trucks and activities for the CSHS Hunger Food Drive. This lot will not be available for meet parking, so please plan accordingly.

🎁 Annual Holiday Toy Drive
We are proud to continue NTN’s annual tradition of supporting the Southlake DPS Toy Drive to help families in need this holiday season. Details are below:

  • WHEN: December 1–19

  • WHAT: New, unwrapped toys or wrapping paper

  • WHERE: Donation bins are located in the lobby entrance

For questions, please contact Christina Sheffield at [email protected] .

❄️ Cold Weather Reminder
Temperatures have dropped significantly this week. Please ensure your swimmers arrive dressed appropriately for the weather. Swimmers should not arrive to practice wearing only swimsuits—warm clothing is essential as we move between indoor and outdoor areas.
