Doors Open - If possible, the doors will open 15 minutes prior to the times below to ensure students have left the building/locker rooms & allow staff to prepare for your arrival.

Lane Availability - we will do our very best to communicate which sessions will be long course (Olympic course 50 meter long lanes) and short course (25 yard lanes).  However, there may be days that are designated LCM or SCY and switched when you arrive.  Having your own lane is not guaranteed for the main pool or the shallow pool.  Members may be asked to share a lane whenever the single person per lane capacity is exceeded. Please be courteous and share a lane if needed.

Access Policy

Building Access Policy: To ensure a smooth and consistent experience, the building doors will open NO EARLIER than *15 minutes prior to the start of community swim hours. This allows time for preparation and ensures you have sufficient time to get ready, stretch, and secure your preferred lane.

Important Notes:

  • Student Activities: The Aquatic Center serves as a classroom during school hours, hosting activities such as 2nd-grade swim lessons, high school swim practices, and other school district events. For this reason, community members are not permitted in the building while students are present.
  • Consistency: In the past, we occasionally allowed early access up to 45 minutes before swim time. However, this led to inconsistencies and frustration when this courtesy could not always be extended. Moving forward, we will maintain a consistent policy of opening the doors 15 minutes prior to swim time.  However, we reserve the right to push the opening back if students are still in the building.

Facility Use Guidelines:

  • The shallow pool will always have at least one lane available during community lap swim hours.
  • The 15-minute access window before swim time provides ample opportunity to prepare without disrupting school activities.

Commitment to Student Safety: The safety and security of our students are our highest priorities. Adhering to district policies regarding building access helps us maintain a secure environment while also serving the community.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in respecting these guidelines. If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We look forward to seeing you during community swim hours!
