What is Swim America?

Thank you for your interest in our lessons program.

An assessment is required for all children aged four and older to enroll, as our program does not provide lessons for children under the age of four.

Assessments are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis, and we are currently fully booked for the month. Assessment slots for the upcoming month are added to the calendar at 7:00 AM on the first of each month and are scheduled for 3:15 PM. We recommend checking the calendar promptly at 7:00 AM for the best availability.

Please be aware that our policy allows only one account per family when registering for an assessment through our website calendar. Creating multiple accounts will result in their automatic removal, along with any scheduled assessment dates. Additionally, if more than one assessment date is scheduled for the same swimmer, a $25 fee will be charged for each additional assessment, and the extra assessment dates will be canceled.

We encourage you to check the calendar frequently, as cancellations do occur and are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. You may also find additional assessment slots after 3:40 PM during the week if staffing permits. Further details on the assessment booking process and general program information are included below.

Step by step details to register for a swim assessment

Please visit https://www.teamunify.com/team/ntsfa/page/home and navigate to "Swim America Lessons" followed by "Assessments."

  • The online calendar displays available appointments. Kindly select a time slot that indicates a "1" or "2" in the parentheses, as a "0" signifies that the spots are currently filled.

  • Upon selection, a new window will appear. If you are a new registrant, you will be prompted to create an account, for which a credit card will be required. If you are a returning participant, please log in to your existing account.

  • Please note that while there is no charge for the assessment itself, a $50 no-show fee will apply.

Following the assessment, a confirmation email will be sent to you. We will then assess availability for placement. If a suitable space is identified, an offer will be extended. In cases where immediate placement is not possible, you will be offered a waitlist option and contacted as soon as space becomes available.
