What will my kiddo be learning?

Swimmers will learn the four competitive swimming strokes (Butterfly, Backstroke, Breaststroke, and Freestyle). Swimmers will also learn how to dive.

How do I know if this program is right for my child?

If you are unsure if your child is ready to participate in this program please reach out to Coach Abbi at [email protected] to schedule an evaluation.

What equipment is required?

Swimmers are required to have goggles, kickboard, and fins. Click here to see our gear requirement page and purchase gear.

What kind of goggles should I purchase?

Swimmers must provide their own goggles. We require all swimmers to have goggles WITHOUT a nose piece. Swimmers will need goggles that only cover their eyes.

How many practices are required a week?

We do not have any practice requirements, however we do recommend swimmers attend as many practices as possible. With the program and practices being so short, swimmers will be learning new skills every day. In order to gain the most out of the program we recommend swimmers attend 90% of practices.

Can I watch practice?

We have designated bleachers on the pool deck for parents to sit and watch the practices.

Will there be swim meets?

Swimmers in the Fall/Spring League will have one swim meet on the last day of practice. It is a small informal meet with only swimmers enrolled in Fall/Spring League.
