Swimming resumes, Jr. Frostbite camp, raffle latest

Regular swimming resumes Monday, Jan. 8. 
 
Our Jr. Frostbite camp for Cubs/Sharks takes place the following weekend (Jan. 12-14). The camp will start on Friday, 4 to 6:30 pm, with all Cubs and Sharks. Saturday morning will include Cubs from 6 to 9 am with Sharks joining from 7:30 to 9. Both Cubs and Sharks will join the Saturday afternoon session from 4 to 6 pm. And on Sunday morning, we'll have Cubs again from 6 to 9 am with Sharks joining from 7:30 to 9 am. Good luck to all!
 
A reminder that the territorial swim meet is coming up Feb. 9-11. 
 
And lastly, a note that we still have not secured our regular Saturday morning 6 am time slot. Carol is working on a plan to make the best use of the 9-11 am slot that we do have. Stay tuned.
 
 
Raffle latest

Canadian Tire:
  • Friday, Jan. 12 - 8 am to 9 pm in two-hour shifts. (These could just be evening shifts if interest is low in the daytime options.)
  • Saturday, Jan. 13 - 9-11 am, 11-1pm, 1-3pm and 3-5pm, 5-7 pm, 7-9 pm
  • Sunday, Jan. 14 - 9-11, 11-1, 1-3, 3-5
Yellowknife Co-op:
Big Independent:
  • Saturday, Jan. 27 - 2-hour shifts from 10am to 6 pm
  • Sunday, Jan. 28 - ditto
 
If you need more tickets, reach Derek anytime to arrange to grab some. 
 
The draw takes place Feb. 10 at the pool.
 
As noted on the tickets, half the proceeds from each $5 ticket will go to the 50/50 winner. Of the remaining $2.50, $1.50 will go towards the club and $1 will go towards your fundraising quota, or if you've already met that, into your swimmer's travel fund.
