Swim meet tomorrow! All the details
Hi everyone,
We're looking forward to NWT Territorials starting tomorrow afternoon at the Ruth Inch Memorial Pool.
Swimmers should be at the pool for:
- 4 pm to 6:30 pm Friday
- noon to 6 pm Saturday
- and 6 am to noon Sunday
You can now find heat sheets for the meet in Meet Mobile.
For those who don't know, Meet Mobile is a very handy swimming app that allows you to follow swim events and get results in real-time. The app is free to download from the App Store; it'll eventually ask for a small fee to get results; up to you if you want to pay this.
Several timers are still needed. If you're willing to give this a try, contact Lea: 867-444-9660. Right now we need three more times Friday, four for Saturday and five Sunday.
Timers will need to commit to be there from:
- 4:30 - 6:30 Friday
- 12:30 to 6 Saturday
- 6:30 to noon Sunday.
For those new to swim meets, make sure to send your swimmer with an extra towel or warm sweater, water and snacks.
The 50/50 raffle draw will take place on Saturday. Thanks to all who sold tickets!
And we are very pleased to welcome swimmers from Hay River and Inuvik to this year's meet.
