Fundraising Opportunities - Bingos, Grocery Bagging, 50/50 Ticket Sales

Good morning! 

We have several fundraising opportunities coming up and are looking for volunteers! 

Fundraising goes towards your swimmer(s) quotas and helps to support travel to meets and *new this year* may be used to offset some swimming fees. 

Bingos

We need volunteers for our upcoming bingos! We are looking for volunteers who are 16yo and up. 

  • Friday, December 6

  • Thursday, December 13

  • Friday, January 10, 2025

The time slots are 4:30-7:30pm and 7-10 pm. 

 

Each person who works a slot earns $100 towards their swimming fundraising quota or travel fund. You can also ask friends and relatives to volunteer for your swimmer(s).

Grocery Bagging at the Co-op

For grocery bagging, we are looking for swimmers who are 10yo and up. Parents are welcome too! Swimmers under the age of 10 should be accompanied and will be considered as one volunteer. The money is split between all who attend.

The shifts are 10-12, 12-2, 2-4, 4-6. You can sign up for as many shifts as you want. 

Grocery Bagging dates are: 

  • Nov 16/24 (Saturday)

  • Nov 17/24 (Sunday)

  • Dec 1/24 (Sunday)

  • Dec 14/24 (Saturday)

50/50 Ticket Sales

We will be doing a 50/50 raffle again this year. For the 50/50 ticket sales, swimmers are credited a percentage of the tickets they've sold.

Fundraising Policy  

For those who missed the orientation in September, we do have a new fundraising policy this year!

Please know, we understand you’re busy. If fundraising isn’t on your priority list, we get it. Families can choose to pay part or all of their quota at the end of the swim year.

(I’m going to try to get the new policy on the website… hopefully better luck than the pledge form. Feel free to email me if you need it sooner)
