Reminders:

  • Officials Clinic - Saturday, November 9th from 9am-12pm. Please sign up by Nov 8th at 6pm.

  • No swimming - Saturday, November 9th and Monday, November 11th (Remembrance Day)

Corrections to the Fundraising Opportunities

There was a little mixup on the grocery bagging and raffles sale dates in the last email. Here is the *correct* information: 

Grocery Bagging at the Co-op

For grocery bagging, we are looking for swimmers who are 10yo and up. Parents are welcome too! Swimmers under the age of 10 should be accompanied and will be considered as one volunteer. The money is split between all who attend.

Grocery Bagging 

  • December 21st (Saturday)

The shifts are 10-12, 12-2, 2-4, 4-6. You can sign up for as many shifts as you want.

50/50 Ticket Sales

We will be doing a 50/50 raffle again this year. For the 50/50 ticket sales, swimmers are credited a percentage of the tickets they've sold.  

Raffle Ticket table at the Co-op (we need at least one swimmer and one adult per shift)

  • November 17, 2024 (Sunday)

  • December 1, 2024 (Sunday)

  • December 14, 2024 (Saturday)

December 27 - 10K Challenge 

January 3-5 - Senior Frostbite Camp 

January 6 - Swimming resumes for Belugas and above 

January 10-12 - Junior Frostbite Camp

January 13 - Swimming resumes for Dolphins and Tadpoles 

January 24-25 – Swim Alberta Provincial Festivals Meet in Edmonton (12 & Under)

January 31  – Friday Night at the Races # 4 (Sharks and Above)

All further dates are tentative due to opening/ transition to the new Aquatic Centre.
