No Swimming (Dec 5-9th), Polar Pubs (Dec 13) and Friday Nights at the Races (Dec 20)

NO swimming on Monday, December 9th.

Our coaches are all at the swim meet in Calgary, returning Monday. We are canceling due to flight conflicts and concern for delays.

 

Note: back to regular swimming for Wednesday, December 11th

 

Polar Pups - Friday, December 13th.

Belugas and below (including Tadpoles) will attend this fun race night.

This will be our first Polar Pups event of the season. It’s a positive experience for racing with ribbons and medals for all.

 

**We will need parents and Cubs and up to support the races**

 

There will be pizza and prizes at Polar Pups. This will be the last swim of the year for the Belugas and below, and we will recommence swimming in January.

 

Friday Night at the Races - December 20th.

This time will include Sharks and above, and will be the last swim of 2024!

 

**Again, we will need parents to join for timing and officials duties** 

This is a great low-pressure event to try out timing and get to see the kids working hard.

 

If you are interested in baking cupcakes for either Polar Pups or Friday Night at the Races, please let Coach Carol know.

 

These end of season races are also a great time to connect with Coach Carol on how your swimmer is doing.

 

Save the Date!

We have organized Dare to Care training on January 11-12th, 10am-12pm. This is for parents, coaches and officials and is available club-wide. More information will be provided closer to the dates. It will be virtual and you only need to attend one.
