Updates on Oct 17th FNATR; Oct 25-26 Swim Meet; Gear Purchases
Hi Swim Families,
We have several updates on time trials / swim meets and gear purchases below.
October 17th Friday Night at the Races
Reminder: this event is for Belugas and up. No swimming for Dolphins.
Regular volunteers โ please arrive at the pool by 4:30pm
We should have enough volunteers, but interested folks are always welcome to come join! Timing is easy and fun for these races โ just show up and weโll teach you (and itโs great prep for next weekend!)๐
October 26-26th Swim Meet
Who? Belugas, Sharks, Cubs, Bronze, Silver, and Gold
Also some Dolphins swimmers โ the Dolphins coaches will be talking with swimmers who are ready to compete in a sanctioned competition so they know if they are eligible.
Where? Yellowknife Aquatic Centre
When? The session times are as follows:
Saturday, October 25th
- Session 1: 7:15am warm up / 8:00am racing begins
- Session 2: 4:15pm warm up / 5:00pm racing begins
Sunday, October 26th
- Session 3: 9:15am warm up / 10:00am racing begins
Volunteers Needed!
We are still looking for many parent volunteers for each session of the meet. Any parents with officiating experience should reach out to Jane Ann at [email protected]
We have plenty of slots for parents who are not experienced to step in as well!

There are still some swimmers who have not completed the second part of registration with Swim Canada. If your swimmer is one of them, you will have received an email from our Registrar today โ please do this as soon as you can.
