2025 Parks & Recreation Pricing and Registration Updates
Revised 2.28.25
The City of Dublin has adopted a new, simplified pricing and registration structure for parks and recreation services and amenities, such as Dublin Community Recreation Center memberships, facility rentals, pool passes and sports field use.
Effective Jan. 1, 2025 prices now fall into two categories: residents and non-residents. While all are welcome to enjoy our exceptional recreational opportunities, tax-subsidized pricing and priority registration will be reserved as a benefit for City of Dublin residents.
The new structure is based on insights from the 2023 Parks & Recreation Master Plan and the City’s recent cost study. Discounted pricing and priority registration will no longer be offered for nonresidents who live within the Dublin City Schools boundary.
For more information about the updates, please visit website: https://dublinohiousa.gov/recreation services/dcrc-fee-updates/.
What does this mean for the Dublin Community Swim Team?
A pool use fee for DCST will go into effect for the 2025-2026 Short Course season. The pool use fee will be $75 per school-district resident swimmer or $0 for a school-district resident swimmer who holds a Dublin Community Recreation Center (DCRC) membership. *There is no pool use fee for Dublin residents.
Due to SportsEngine’s limitations, all swimmers will need to have an account with DCRC and obtain a DCST pass. This will confirm residency, issue the pool use fee (if needed) and create a pass for swimmers to scan in at the DCRC. This DCST pass is only valid for pool use during swim team practices.
What does this mean for 2025 Long Course Registration?
The City is asking all swimmers to get their Rec Center accounts ready prior to the start of the 2025 Long Course season, as bag tags will no longer be issued. The registration process for returning swimmers will remain the same with one exception –during the registration window, all swimmers will be required to also register for a DCST pass with the Rec Center. All swimmers entering the facility for practice will be required to scan in at the check-in desk at the DCRC. Swimmers can use a keyfob or the Dublin Rec app to scan in. Keyfobs are issued on site at the rec center front desk, however, if your child has ever had a membership or pool pass, they can use thesame keyfob. | Connected | Resilient 614.410.4550 dublinohiousa.gov
Get Your Account Ready Today!
If you have ever purchased anything from the Rec Center (membership, outdoor pool pass, registered for a class, bought July 4th wristbands, etc.), you likely already have an account. Be sure to login and ensure your swimmer is visible in your account. If they are not, children cannot be added online – only over the phone 614-410-4550 or in person at the Rec Center. If your child is visible in your account and they want to use the Dublin Rec App to scan in (instead of a keyfob), they will need an email address as the app is personalized for each user by email address.
If you have not purchased anything before, you need to create a new account. Click here to create your account online. ALL NEW ACCOUNTS ARE AUTOMATICALLY SET UP AS NON-RESIDENT. After you've created your account, you may upload proof of residency online by following these simple steps:
- Click “Sign in”
- Under “My Account” go to “Upload ID/Proof of Residency.”
- Upload a photo of your current driver's license as well as an ID for all other adults in your household. If the license does not list your current address, a current utility bill must accompany your ID.
For security purposes, personal information is removed from the system immediately after review. If you prefer to show proof of residency in person, you may do so during operating hours at the DCRC, located at 5600 Post Road. Uploaded documents are reviewed by full-time staff within 1-2 days, Monday-Friday only. Once your residency is verified, staff will update your household's status. You will receive an email confirmation once your account is updated. If your registration window is time-sensitive, we recommend coming to the DCRC with your ID and proof of residency.
Download the Dublin Rec Mobile App
If your child has a cell phone and their own email address, have them download the Dublin Recreation app! The mobile app makes checking in for practice easier with a “Scan-in” button on the home screen. Alternatively, they can ask for a key fob on site once the DCST pass is in their account.Recreation Services
