Life Time Oregon Swim Team Weekly Update: 9/24/2023

Greetings, 

We are looking forward to hosting our first developmental meet on Friday, 9/29!  Let’s make this a great week of practice!  Please review the weekly update below:

• Please bookmark our team website if you haven’t already. This is updated regularly and is a great resource if you have questions regarding the team.  

• Our Life Time Oregon Fall Kick-Off Developmental Meet is planned for Friday, September 29^th from 4:30-6:30. All team members are encouraged to attend this meet. This will run similarly to our summer meets. It is mandatory that swimmers register with Swimmingly if they are going to participate in the meet. 
  • If you were on Summer Swim Team and competed in a meet you already have an account but will still need to register for the current season.
  • If you are new to the team you will be prompted to create an accout and then register for the season.

• For swimmers who have already signed up please declare on Swimmingly whether your swimmer will be attending the meet.  This link explains how to do this.  https://support.swimmingly.app/complete-meet-declarations

• Swimmers can choose up to 4 individual races.  Swimmers are welcome to choose the races that they would like to swim.  If they are unsure this can be left blank and the coaching staff will pick appropriate races.  All swimmers will be signed up for 1-2 relay events.

• Please log-in to our team website (SportsEngine) and update your swimmer’s shirt size. We plan on ordering T-shirts this month. If you are unsure how to do this please look at the “News” section on our website there are screenshots of how to do this. 

• Our annual admin fee will be charged on October 1^st. This fee will be $50 for Development 1 and 2 swimmers and $75 for bronze and silver swimmers. ​

• If you have not received a Life Time Oregon swim cap yet please see me!  All swimmers will receive a complimentary latex cap.  Silicone caps can be purchased for $12.
