Weekly Update: Summer Swim Meet on Friday, Summer Reminders

Danny Weinberg

Dear Team,

Please take a moment to review this week’s update, which includes several important announcements and reminders:

  • Summer Swimmingly Registration and Summer Swim Meet #1: Beach Ball Bash

  • Summer Schedule/ Billing Information

  • Drop-Off Guidelines Reminder

  • Upcoming USA Swimming Competitions

Summer Swim Meet #1: Beach Ball Bash – Friday, June 20th

Current Entry List

Attached above is the entry list of swimmers currently registered for the upcoming meet. If your athlete is not yet signed up and would like to participate, please complete registration through our Swimmingly Clubhouse by 11:30 PM on Wednesday, June 18.

If you miss the online registration deadline, please email me directly. No additional entries will be accepted after 12:00 PM on Friday, June 20.

We strongly encourage all athletes to attend—Gold group swimmers included, even if you have morning practice. This is a great chance to experience the format of a prelim/finals meet, with a morning workout followed by an evening competition.

A reminder email from Swimmingly was sent to families on Wednesday, June 11. If you did not receive it, you may not have registered for the new season on Swimmingly. Instructions for completing registration are included below.

  • The information needed to register for the new Swimmingly season can also be found below:

Summer Attendance & Meets

  • Swimmers in all groups may attend practice as often as they like—there are no attendance limits.

  • We’ll host additional swim meets at Life Time throughout the summer. Tentatively scheduled for: 6/20, 7/18 and 8/1

August Break & Development Opportunities

We observe a short break in early August (per the USA Swimming calendar) and will resume in September when school starts. This pause is critical to prevent burnout and support long-term development. During the break, we will offer:

  • Stroke clinics

  • Private lessons

Detailed information and registration links will be sent as we approach August.

Billing & Absence Policy

  • Because we maintain a highly flexible, unlimited-attendance program, we cannot  prorate for summer vacations.

  • Families planning an extended absence (one month or longer) must submit a written request at least 30 days before the requested end date, in accordance with aquatics policy.

Please feel free to reach out with any questions or to discuss practice plans for your swimmer’s summer schedule.
