Summer Swim Meet #1: Beach Ball Blast Meet Recap!

We had a fantastic summer swim meet on Friday, June 20th, with swimmers giving their best efforts and enjoying the experience. We’d like to recognize Jia Choi and Adalyn Mason who competed in their first meets!

It was so fun watching our swimmers compete, especially in our annual Beach Ball Relay.  Congrats to the following swimmers who were part of the winning Beach Ball Relay team: Madison Mason, Eva Lockyer, Adalyn Mason, Noah Godfey, Joseph Wang, Adam Kao, Maya Rami!  Awesome work!

Most Significant Time Improvements

Congratulations to the swimmers who achieved the largest time drops in time at the meet:

  • Ally Liu: 100 IM – 20.2 second improvement (16.9 percent)

  • Maya Rami: 25 Fly- 5.6 second improvement (16.1 percent)

  • Makayla Bolden: 50 Back – 9.7 second improvement (15.1 percent)

Thank You
A heartfelt thank you to all the parents who volunteered as timers and helped with prizes. Your support made this meet a success. We hope that every swimmer had fun and left feeling inspired for the next competition.

Mark Your Calendars

We will be hosting two more summer swim meets at Life Time:

  • Friday, July 18

  • Friday, August 1

We hope to see everyone there!

Results & More

Complete meet results are available on the Swimmingly Clubhouse and TeamUnify websites.

Let’s keep the momentum going! Summer Swim meets are an excellent opportunity for swimmers to practice, improve, and build confidence in a competitive environment. We look forward to seeing everyone back on the deck soon.

August Break & Development Opportunities

We observe a short break in early August (per the USA Swimming calendar) and will resume in September when school starts. This pause is critical to prevent burnout and support long-term development. During the break, we will offer:

  • A final week of fun practices (August 4th-August 7th), culminating with the first annual Life Time Games on Thursday, 8/7  (More info to come)

  • Private lessons (one for each team member who registers for August)

  • Back to School Stroke Clinic (August 25th-28th)

Detailed information and registration links for these events will be sent as we approach August.

Billing & Absence Policy

  • Because we maintain a highly flexible, unlimited-attendance program, we cannot  prorate for summer vacations.

  • Families planning an extended absence (one month or longer) must submit a written request at least 30 days before the requested end date, in accordance with aquatics policy.

Please feel free to reach out with any questions or to discuss practice plans for your swimmer’s summer schedule.

Drop-Off Guidelines

  • All swimmers 13 years old and under must be accompanied by an adult when arriving on the pool deck.

  • Coaches will begin supervision 10 minutes prior to the scheduled practice start time and will continue through the end of practice.

  • Parents/guardians may leave once their child is within the 10-minute supervision window before practice begins.

  • Swimmers aged 13 and under must have adult supervision if they arrive earlier than 10 minutes before practice or choose to stay afterward to use the leisure pool.

  • Swimmers are not permitted to use the leisure pools before or after practice unless an adult is present.

These policies are in place to ensure the safety and well-being of all our athletes. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Additionally, if your swimmer is planning to use the outside leisure pool prior to practice, please help them make sure that they are on the pool deck 10 minutes before their required start time.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

As we continue to grow, we’d like to take a moment to remind families of a few key expectations. These align with USA Swimming guidelines and are outlined in our Team Handbook.

Parent Expectations & Reminders

  • Support Through Volunteering
Parents are strongly encouraged to get involved by volunteering at swim meets and other team events. Your time and energy make a huge difference in our athletes’ experience!

  • Observing Practices
You’re always welcome to watch practices from designated viewing areas. We kindly ask that you remain in these areas to minimize distractions for athletes and coaches.

  • Sideline Coaching
Please allow coaches to lead practices. Swimmers should be focused on their coach during workouts. The best way to support your athlete is through encouragement before and after practice or races.

  • Communicating with Coaches
Coaches are available to speak with parents before or after practice—typically within a 15-minute window. Please avoid approaching coaches while they are on-deck. If you'd like to schedule a conversation, feel free to send an email to coordinate a time.

  • Account Status
Families are responsible for keeping their Life Time accounts in good standing. Be sure to update us with any changes to your contact or billing information to ensure smooth communication and participation.
