Fall Swim Team Information

Our fall season begins Wednesday, September 3rd.

  • The final practice schedule is available here: FALL PRACTICE SCHEDULE

  • Please plan for swimmers to be on deck 10 minutes before practice. Coaches will use this time for team meetings, stretching, and light dryland activities.

Equipment Reminder:
With many new swimmers joining, we do not have enough team gear for everyone. Please check your group’s equipment list and purchase the required items before the season begins: FALL EQUIPMENT LISTS

Billing Information:

  • Monthly dues will be billed on the 1st of each month, starting September 1st.

  • A once-per-year $60 admin fee per swimmer will be charged in October. This helps cover team t-shirts, caps, prizes, and other reinvestments back into the program.

USA Swimming Registration (New Policy)

Beginning September 2025, all swimmers must be registered with USA Swimming. This ensures our program maintains insurance coverage and provides additional competitive opportunities.

  • Developmental 1 & 2 → Flex Membership ($30, valid through Dec 31, 2026). Includes up to two USA-sanctioned meets; upgrade available if more are attended.

  • Bronze, Silver, Gold → Premium Membership ($92, valid through Dec 31, 2026).

Important:

  • Current USA Swimming members must renew by Dec 31, 2025.

  • A new USA swimming registration link will be sent out on Sept 1st to all team members, but swimmers who are not currently registered must complete this before their first practice.

  • If you are transferring from another USA Swimming club, you must complete a transfer form via the USA Swimming mobile app. Please reach out if you need help.

Congratulations to Simon!

A big congratulations to Gold swimmer, Simon Boariu, who represented Oregon at the Western Age Group Zones Meet in Elk Grove, CA (August 6th–9th). Simon achieved four new personal bests and qualified for the B final in the 50 Back. We are very proud of you, Simon, and look forward to sending even more Life Time athletes to this meet in the future!

Become an Official – We Need You!

Officiating is one of the most important and rewarding ways to support our team. Every meet requires trained officials to ensure fairness, legality, and smooth operations. Without officials, swimmers’ times do not count, and teams that cannot provide officials may not be invited to meets.

Why Volunteer as an Official?

  • Join a great community of parent volunteers.

  • Enjoy perks such as free food, drinks, and sometimes reserved parking.

  • Get the best view of the races!

  • Life Time will cover meet fees for your swimmers when you officiate.

Oregon Swimming recommends one official for every 10 athletes, so our team’s participation depends on your involvement. If you are interested, please contact me—I will help you get started.

Thank you as always for your continued support. Please reach out with any questions. Were looking forward to another great season!

See you at the pool!
