Congratulations to our October Swimmers of the Month!

We’re excited to announce the swimmers who earned the "Swimmer of the Month" awards for October:

  • Development 1: Grayson Foy

  • Development 2: Lucas Fontes Lioi

  • Bronze: Jia Choi

  • Silver:  Niki Shahbeigi

  • Gold: Alexander Frimkiss
     

Each of these swimmers showed outstanding sportsmanship, a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a true commitment to our team throughout the past month! They will all receive a special Life Time Oregon Swim Team "Swimmer of the Month" swim cap!

PAC Fall Invite Recap

37 Life Time swimmers competed at the PAC Fall Invite on Nov. 1st and 2nd.  Our team had some outstanding performances with a ton of highlights.  Please take a look at our individual highlights and make sure to congratulate all of these swimmers when you see them next!

Developmental 1 Highlights

Simon Acuna Reyes – Competed in his first USA swim meet and was energetic to crush his races! Highlight Race: 50 Back

Grayson Foy – Set new PRs in all of his races at his first USA swim meet, with an incredible 7-second time drop in the 25 Back! Highlight Race: 25 Back

Paia Haines – Competed in her first USA meet and placed top 10 in all of her events. Highlight Race: 25 Free

 


 

Developmental 2 Highlights

Lucas Fontes Lioi – Challenged himself and crushed his first USA swim meet! Highlight Race: 50 Free

Dinorah Page – Crushed her first meet with Life Time, with a new PR in the 50 Free!Highlight Race: 50 Free

 


 

Bronze Group Highlights

Jia Choi – Competed in her first USA swim meet! Brought positivity and energy in and out of her events. Cheered on her teammates and played card games in between races! Highlight Swim: 50 Free

Lydia Duffy – Competed in her first USA swim meet! Great teammate cheering on her friends and eager to continue working on skills!Highlight Swim: 50 Breaststroke

Amy Guo – Had an excellent meet with several impressive new swims. Was committed to  Highlight Swim: 100 IM

Nora Nicolai – A solid hard worker in practice. Delivered strong swims and time improvements in all events. A great leader and teammate, helping support newer swimmers at the meet! Highlight Swim: 50 Free

Maya Rami – Competed in her first USA swim meet and tackled the 100 Free! She adapted quickly to the meet format and delivered strong swims with time improvements. Highlight Swim: 50 Free

Sami Rami – Competed in his first USA swim meet! Brought great energy and support for his teammates. Locked in on what skills to work on next in practice! Highlight Swim: 50 Back

Vincent Schremer – A strong competitor who delivered impressive swims. Showed great responsibility by communicating with coaches before and after races, and helped out newer swimmers at the meet! Highlight Swim: 50 Free

Naava Shahbeigi – Delivered another strong performance and approached her races with confidence. Cheered on her teammates and helped out newer swimmers at the meet! Highlight Swim: 25 Fly

Rhosyn Thomas – Had another solid meet and delivered strong swims in back-to-back races! Approached races with confidence.Highlight Swim: 100 Free

Amelia Wynhof – First USA meet of the season, and she delivered fast swims! Brought great energy and committed to warming up and down between races.Highlight Swim: 100 Free

Aileen Xu – Had a great meet and showed versatility in the 100 Free and 100 IM. Showed team spirit and focus between races.Highlight Swim: 25 Breaststroke

 


 

Silver Group Highlights

Anna Downie – Hard worker in practice. Showed great improvement in all three events.Highlight Swim: 100 Back

Nehara Gunasekera – Delivered impressive swims with new time improvements. Gained more insight on what to work on in practice. Highlight Swim: 50 Back

Adam Kao – Showed great speed and leadership while supporting teammates at their first meet! Cheered on his teammates by the coaches’ table. Highlight Swim: 200 Free

Ally Liu – Continued to deliver strong swims and supported her teammates by the coaches’ table!  Highlight Swim: 50 Back

Aiden Moballegh – Adapted quickly to the meet and delivered solid swims with time improvements. Gained more insight on what to work on in practice. Highlight Swim: 50 Free

Niki Shahbeigi – Showed great progress this meet with time improvements in all races! Approached each race with focus and a competitive mindset. Highlight Swim: 100 Free

Dexter Thomas – Challenged himself with an extremely demanding lineup (100 Breast, 200 Fly, 500 Free). He put together strong performances overall! Highlight Swim: 200 Fly

Levent Yemenicioglu – Displayed strong competitiveness and dropped time in all races. Highlight Swim: 50 Back

 


 

Gold Group Highlights

Danya Carmona – Danya continues to impress with her effort and steady progress. She dropped nearly two seconds in the 50 Back, earning another OSI state qualifying time! Highlight Swim: 50 Back

Diego Carmona – Diego took on several new races this weekend and rose to the challenge. He dropped over a second in the 100 Fly and showed great racing form throughout the meet. Highlight Swim: 100 Fly

Sonia Ellefson – In a unique situation, Sonia competed in the 12-year-old age group as a newly turned 13-year-old (her birthday was Sunday!). She posted big time drops in all three of her races and showed strong improvement in race strategy. Highlight Swim: 200 Free

Alexander Frimkiss – Alex’s dedication in practice is paying off. He dropped time in four events and finished with an impressive 500 Free to close out the session. Highlight Swim: 500 Free

Morgan Lee – Morgan tackled a tough Sunday lineup (200 Free, 200 Back, and 200 Fly) and handled it with grit and determination. She continues to prove herself as a tough and versatile racer.Highlight Swim: 200 Back

 Henry Little – Henry had an outstanding meet, dropping time in four of his six events, including a huge 12-second drop in the 100 Fly. His recent hard work in practice is clearly showing! Highlight Swim: 100 Fly

Brooke Lunden – Brooke had a phenomenal Sunday session, dropping time in three events and achieving new OSI state times in all of them (100 Back, 100 Fly, and 200 Free). Highlight Swim: 100 Back

Joshua Ng – Josh delivered another strong performance, dropping time in four races. He broke the 27-second barrier in the 50 Free for the first time—an exciting milestone! Highlight Swim: 50 Free

Henry Shaffer – Henry earned a 2nd-place finish in the 100 Fly and showed continued progress in the 100 Free. His focus and consistency are paying off.Highlight Swim: 100 Free

Elowyn Thomas – Elowyn had a breakout meet with a huge drop in the 200 Free and another strong performance in the 100 Fly. Both swims met 12-year-old state time standards. Highlight Swim: 200 Free

Claire Tung – In her first meet with Life Time, Claire made a strong debut, dropping significant time in all of her events—including a 16-second improvement in the 100 Free! Highlight Swim: 100 Free

Tristan Tung – Also competing in his first meet with Life Time, Tristan impressed with time drops across all events, highlighted by a 15-second drop in the 200 Breast.Highlight Swim: 200 Breast

 


 

Developmental Meet: Fall Frenzy- November 14th

We’re excited to host another developmental meet of the season on Friday, November 14.
These fun, low-key meets are designed especially for new swimmers.

  • Who Should Participate: Developmental 1 & 2, Bronze, and Silver athletes are encouraged to attend.
     

  • Gold Group: Will practice in the outdoor lap pool during the meet.
     

Registration: All swimmers with a Swimmingly account were prompted to register via email on 10/24.  You can also visit https://clubhouse.swimmingly.app/ and register for the meet.  

Swimmers who are not registered with Swimmingly, must do so first, the information needed to complete this can be found below:
