Results & More

Let’s keep the momentum going! Developmental Swim  Meets are an excellent opportunity for swimmers to practice, improve, and build confidence in a competitive environment. We look forward to seeing everyone back on the deck soon.

Practice Pick-Up Reminders

We wanted to send a quick reminder about our swim team pick-up procedures so that we can continue keeping all of our athletes safe.

For all swimmers under the age of 12, a parent or designated adult must meet them on the pool deck at the end of practice. Swimmers shouldn’t leave the deck on their own or meet parents in other parts of the facility, such as the café or locker rooms. This has been a standard safety guideline since the club opened and applies to all families.

Our coaches remain on deck to supervise until athletes are picked up, and having an adult present at dismissal really helps us ensure everyone gets home safely.

Moving forward, please make sure that:

  • A parent or designated adult is on the pool deck at pick-up

  • Swimmers stay on deck until that adult arrives

  • Pick-up happens promptly at the end of practice

Thank you so much for your help with this—we truly appreciate everyone’s cooperation. If you have any questions or need clarification, please feel free to reach out.

Help Us Renew Our USA Swimming Safe Sport Certification

Thank you to all the parents and swimmers who have already completed the Online Safe Sport Certification Course! We are up to 25% of parents and 58% of athletes finished.

Let’s keep the momentum going so we can successfully complete our Safe Sport recertification. Your participation is incredibly important for our athletes and our program.

Please refer to the message below for full details on how to complete the course.

The safety of our athletes is always our top priority. We are proud to share that our team has been recognized as a USA Swimming Safe Sport Recognized Club since May 2024. This recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to creating a safe, positive, and supportive environment for all swimmers. Our current certification is valid through May 2026.

As we prepare for recertification, we need your help. USA Swimming requires both parents and athletes to complete the appropriate Safe Sport courses through the USA Swimming website. Steps to complete this can be found HERE.

Thanks in advance for your support and helping us maintain our Safe Sport recognition!

This meet is an excellent end-of-season short course opportunity for all athletes who have not yet achieved an Oregon Swimming A time. Swimmers who already have an A time in a particular event may not swim that specific event at this meet.

It’s a great competition for every training group—including our developmental swimmers—and provides a positive, supportive environment for athletes to gain experience, try new events, and finish the short course season strong!

Oregon Swimming Time Standards

The Oregon Swimming State Time Standards for the 2025–2026 season have been finalized! You can view them by clicking [HERE].

A few important notes:

  • SCY (Short Course Yards): Nearly all meets during the fall and winter are held in short course yards, so swimmers should use the SCY standards for reference.

  • SCM (Short Course Meters) meets are rare in Oregon, and LCM (Long Course Meters) standards are primarily used for spring and summer meets.

  • State qualifying times (OSI Championship times) cannot be achieved at Life Time Developmental Meets—they must be swum at USA Swimming–sanctioned competitions.

Achieving a qualifying time in the appropriate age group allows swimmers to compete in the Oregon State Championships. The championship dates for this season are as follows:
