The Worthington Swim Club is the year-round competitive swim team in Worthington, offering high quality professional coaching and technical instruction for all ages and abilities. Our goal is to provide every member of the team an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success - from novice to national competitor. We provide opportunities for all swimmers to improve at their own individual rate and reach their personal best in a supportive, positive, and fun atmosphere. We promote and support team spirit and personal pride, and seek excellence as a club, as a team and as individuals.
In the Fall of 2025, we are moving into the brand new indoor natatorium on the campus of Thomas Worthington High School. The indoor pool is a 10 lanes, 25 yards pool with an adjacent multipurpose room that is used daily for dryland training and team meetings. In competition, we display our state-of-the-art LED scoreboard, timing system and starting blocks with track-start wedges.
In the summer, our outdoor pool is a 6 lanes, 40 meters pool for long course training. In the Summer of 2027, we will be moving into an outdoor, 8 lanes, 50 meters pool.
The short course season starts in early September. The season ends at the state championships in February or early March. Our long course season starts in mid-April and goes to mid-July.
The Worthington Swim Club is recognized by USA Swimming as a Level 2 club.
