Albany Armada Aquatics is a year-round competitive swim team based at the Albany Aquatic Center. Founded in 2012 by Coaches Helen Garcia and Jesus Salcedo, our staff also includes Coaches Brandon James, Daniel Choy, and 2024 Olympian Evgenii Somov. Together, our coaches bring a wealth of professional experience across six different skill-level groups. We take pride in helping young swimmers reach their full potential — both as athletes and as individuals.

Before scheduling a tryout, please complete the Swimmer Questionnaire. This form helps us learn more about your swimmer’s current ability and background, and it allows us to communicate with you about next steps.

• Mini Blue Group (Introductory Group): Currently full with a waiting list to join.

• Blue, Yellow, Junior, Navy & Gold Groups: Limited space available. These groups require a higher skill level. Please review the Group Overview for details.

If you feel your child is at or near the required level, please complete the Swimmer Questionnaire. After you submit the form, you will receive a link to sign up for a tryout once new time slots are posted.
