Armada Swim & Adventure Camp – Summer 2025
The Armada Swim & Adventure Camp is designed for swimmers ages 6-12 who want to stay active, build confidence in the water, and develop a lifelong love for swimming and the outdoors. Our program is also well-suited for competitive swimmers looking to refine stroke techniques and enhance their training.
What to Expect Each Week
🏊 Swimming Skills Development – Technique-focused instruction covering all four strokes
🌊 Water Safety Education – Best practices for pool and beach safety
💪 Strength & Dryland Training – Activities designed to build swimming-specific strength
🤝 Small Group Instruction – 1:5 counselor-to-camper ratio for personalized attention
🌟 Team Building & Leadership – Skill development for Counselors-in-Training (CITs) and counselors
Join us for a summer of fun, skill-building, and adventure!
Campers should have a basic level proficiency for free and backstroke. Other strokes are not required, and will be taught as the swimmers progress. If you have questions regarding your swimmers ability and are unsure if their skills would qualify for this camp please reach out to the camp director, Jesus Salcedo for a swim assessment.
Location: Albany Aquatic Center & Memorial Park, 1311 Portland Ave, Albany CA.

Regular camp hours are from 9am-3pm daily.
Extended care is available from 8am-9am and 3pm-4pm.
Our camp is outdoors for most of the day, with the swimming sessions usually around the hottest part of the day. We recommend that sunblock and / or rash guards be used during the swimming sessions to protect against sunburn.
We also recommend wearing hats when outside of the pool.
The Armada Swim & Adventure Camp is affiliated with Albany Armada Aquatics swim team.
We offer counselor-in-training opportunities for Armada Swimmers with reduced camp fees as well as paid counselor positions. All CITs and counselors must attend training sessions and orientation. Interested applicants should contact Coach Jesus.
