Pacific Swimming

Ladera Oaks competes in the six-club Peninsula Swim Association (PSA) summer recreational league. Our PSA Swim Team has four main objectives:

  • Learn the fundamentals of competitive swimming
  • Achieve success for each swimmer to the best of their ability level
  • Promote team spirit
  • Have fun with teammates in and out of the water

The 2025 PSA Summer Season starts May 15 and concludes on July 19. The PSA Swim Team is open to all children ages 5-18 who are Proprietary members of Ladera Oaks. Seven swim meets throughout the PSA season offer swimmers the opportunity to race and compete with their teammates and offer parents the opportunity to cheer on their children while mingling with other parents.

Five Dual Meets are held on Wednesday evenings from mid-June through mid-July, with a Relay Meet on Saturday, June 28th, and a Championship Meet & Awards Banquet on Saturday, July 19th. The meets are either at Ladera Oaks or one of the nearby clubs in our league.

Ladera Oaks swim programs have a long tradition of excellence, due in large part to the partnership between our parents and our coaches. Our coaching staff is committed to building upon this tradition by motivating swimmers to be their best and offering high-quality professional coaching and technique instruction for all abilities while in a positive environment.
