PDST 2024 April News: Regional Champ Meet achievement, Monthly Schedule, private lesson, swim meet

Dear PDST members,

Below is the News for March and April.

 

Regional Champ Meet achievement

In the 2024 NW Regional Champion Meet, PDST won 728.5 scores, placing third out of 100 swim teams from 10 states/areas(Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Alaska, Hawaii, and Columbia River)! 

Out of 1300 swimmers in the meet, PDST swimmers won 24 Gold Medals in the Individual events and 5 Gold Medals in Relays. 

On the Team fast time rank, Bryce Chen refreshes all six team records, Gabriel Li beats two records, and Valerie Gan wins one record, Vansea Barnett updates 50BK records in Relays.

The 11-12 boy relay team(Cedric Chen, Terrence Li, Gabriel Li, Bryce Chen) refreshes all 200FR Relay, 400FR Relay, 200 Medley Relay, and 400 Medley Relay records.

The 15&O Boy Relay team(Tim Zhang, Alex Zhang, Andy Zhu, Victor Fu-Zhou) also beat the 200FR Relay, 200 Medley Relay, and 400 Medley Relay records!

Monthly Schedule

The April schedule is posted on the PDST website(first page- schedule Bar -monthly schedule). The yellow highlights are the adjustments from the annual plan.

1)PDST Spring Break will be 4/8-4/14. There will be some make-up training.

 

2)After the spring break, we will use the April-July (with all pools returned) schedule. Please check the yellow highlights, as there are some adjustments at Hazen based on the current lane usage.

 

3)Please notice the updated schedule on 3/29 Friday, there will be no training at MW.

Dryland schedule & instruction

Please notice that the 4:00-5:00 pm dryland is online dryland. PDST deck coach will be the supervisor and instructor during the training. Please check the link below for all the training videos and schedule information. Start in March, the dryland will be on Monday and Tuesday only.
