Coach Gaku has worked with hundreds of athletes, including Far Western champions, Jr Olympic champions, CCS champions, CIF State finalists, Junior Nationals finalists, Pacific Swimming Record setters, Nationally Ranked Top 10s, US Olympic Trials qualifiers and swimmers who’ve gone on to compete at NCAA DI and DIII Championships. His experience also spans across YMCA Leagues, Summer Leagues, he has served on multiple volunteer boards and he has been Meet Director for an array of competitions.

Mary Germano has long history with our team; she has been with the City of Pacifica's Aquatics staff for 35 years and is a well known swim instructor in Pacifica. Mary has served as a PSL Assistant Coach since 2002 and has been part of the team for 17 years. She swam for the Sea Lions in high school and to continue the tradition, so did all three of her children.
