MISSION STATEMENT

“There is a place for swimmers of all ages on The Dolphins.”

Our purpose or “Mission” is to provide the best swim instruction in Monterey County to whoever wants to participate in that instruction regardless of age, gender or aptitude; this includes but is not limited to the best instruction to youth and to adults. The best swimming instruction is inclusive of physical, mental, and mechanical preparedness.

Swimming is a lifelong sport. Regardless of age, gender or aptitude one can swim for life. We are in the business of training our athletes to be lifelong swimmers. Learning to swim is a lifelong sport that can save lives. It is a skill that is passed on from generation to generation.

This Corporation is a nonprofit public benefit corporation and is not organized for the private gain of any person. It is organized under the California Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation Law for charitable purposes. This Corporation is organized exclusively for the charitable, scientific, literary, or educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code or corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
