High School Championship Meets - Practice Cancellations and Changes
York Families,
As noted in the team calendar of events distributed at the beginning of the season we will have practice changes and cancellations in the next few weeks due to the High School Conference and Regional Swim & Dive Meets scheduled to take place at Yorktown and Oakmont. Please see below for the practices that are affected:
Yorktown -
There will be no afternoon practices (YTSS2 Swim School 4:30-5:30 pm and YT2A 5-6 pm) or evening practice (YT2N 8:30-9:30 pm) on Thursday, January 29th 2026
Oakmont -
There will be no afternoon practices (OM3A M/W/F 4:30-5:30 pm & OM2B W/F 4:30-5:30 pm) on Friday, January 30th, Friday, February 6th or Friday, February 13th 2025 held at Oakmont.
Reston Community Center has been kind enough to give us pool time that they could offer -
- Reston Community Center - Friday January 30th and February 6th - OM3A will practice at 5:00-6:00 pm and OM2B will practice 6:00-7:00 pm - The address to Reston Community Center is 2310 Colts Neck Road, Reston, VA 20191.
We understand these practices may not work for all families but wanted to give swimmers in these practices an option to swim. No other practices will be able to accommodate any make-ups.
No other practices are affected by the High School meets.
