PARENT VOLUNTEERING: GENERAL INFORMATION

Swimming is one of the few sports which is run entirely by volunteers. Putting together and running meets is a team effort. Without YOUR help, meets will not happen. Please make the choice to support York Swim Club and all Potomac Valley Swimmers. Volunteering is a great way to give back to the sport your athletes love. Follow the links below to learn more about the two (2) categories of volunteers:

• Meet Volunteer: Head Timer, Timers, Lane Minder, Marshals, Runners, Hospitality,  etc.
• ​Certified USA Swimming Official: Stroke and Turn Judge, Hy-Tek Computer Operator, Electronic Timing System Operator, Adminstrative Official, Starter, Chief Judge, Referee, Meet Referee

Most Meet Directors, especially York's Meet Director Kristin Bryant Wolff, will send out emails requesting volunteers. The signup process for meet volunteers is separate from Officials. Please read these emails carefully and follow the links to sign up.
