It can be challenging to maintain the smooth operation of a program with only one practice session per week
Following the TRA Learn to Swim practice plan is recommended to make sufficient progress.
Learn to Swim Group Practice Plan(Requirements):
5 - 7 years old: More than 2 times a week
8 - 9 years old: More 2-3 times a week
11+ years old: More 3-4 times a week
Don’t lose sight of your Long-term Athlete Development plan in exchange for short-term success for young swimmers.

Program Purpose |
Our swimming school program is designed to nurture a swimming team. We hope that our children can improve their physical activity, leadership, and social skills through participating in swimming competitions. |
| It's imperative to adhere to the recommended number of practice days. Failing to do so may result in your child lacking motivation and encountering difficulties in making advancements. |

Our swimming program entails a substantial volume of exercise with high intensity.
We encourage consistent and ongoing practice for optimal results in the long run.

| 205.10.1. All swimsuits shall be made from textile materials. For men, the swimsuit shall not extend above the navel nor below the knees, and for women, shall not cover the neck, extend past the shoulder, nor extend below the knee |

Team operation policy summary |
| - Learn to Swim School is a 40-minute Class - It's important to arrive before the start of the class and participate on time to avoid disrupting the session. Late arrivals may cause disturbances during the lesson. - Members who are late will finish the class at the designated time without additional service lessons. - Any personal illnesses or physical conditions that may affect classes must be disclosed in detail before registration. (Failure to do so may result in cancellation of membership.) - The class will be held in a designated location/time/session (Missing class due to personal reasons - NO Make-Up Class Allowed) - Questions will be answered through email and NO questions are permitted during the class - Any negligent activities by a swimmer that cause disruptions or violate any TRA policy may disqualify the membership - No one is allowed to enter the class area unless permitted by the head coach - Makeup Policy Only officially announced makeup is allowed, No makeup for absences due to personal reasons Absence due to illness can be supplemented after submitting a medical diagnosis or opinion from a doctor. |

How many days of practice are needed for my child/children?
Each swimmer has a different timetable to show dramatic improvement based on their skills/age. But you can see the following cases we have.
Practice Plan for Learn to Swim group,
- 5-7 years old: 2 times a week
- 8-9 years old: 2-3 times a week
- 11-13 years old: 3-4 times a week
Practice Plan for TEAM PROGRAM
- 5-7 years old: 3-4 times a week
- 8-10 years old: 4-5 times a week
- 11-15 years old: 5-6 times a week
- OVER 15 years old: 7-8 times a week
Level 1 Fundamental Aquatic Skills (Recommended to practice at least 2 times per week)

- Teach new swimmers the Fundamental Aquatic Skills

- Doing front and back glide, entering the water by either stepping or jumping in from the side, and submerging the entire head with blowing bubbles
- Basic Freestyle and Backstroke
- Goals:
- Freestyle one lap (25 yards)
Level 2 Stroke Development (Recommended to practice at least 3 times per week)

- Backstroke one lap (25 yards)
Level 3 Stroke Improvement and Clinic (Recommended to practice at least 4 times per week)

- Goals:
- Freestyle 4 laps (100 yards)
- Backstroke 2 laps (50 yards)
- Butterfly 1 lap (25 yards)
- Breaststroke 1 lap (25 yards)
- Start & Turns
- Attend swim meets
Level 4 PREP. TEAM (Same as Level 3, but Level 4 is for swimmers that are more advanced)

- Objective:
- To develop confidence with stroke cleaning
