Message from Swim Team Representative April Perich

We will swim in CMSL Division III this year.

Coach Mallory Mead and Coach Daphne Mead will share the head coaching duties this year– your swimmers are in excellent hands. Additionally, Anna Ritterhoff will return as assistant coach this year and Lily Mead will join her sisters as another assisstant coach. You can refer to the Swim Team Coach Information tab on the website for information on each coach!

Dulaney Swim Team is for children between the ages of 5-18 who are interested in swimming and not afraid of the water. You must be a member of DSC. Swimmers should be able to swim at least half the length of the pool unassisted. Our goal for the swim team is to grow each swimmer’s ability, learn new swimming skills and provide a fun team atmosphere. If you are not sure if your child is ready or your child is under the age of 5 we can set up a time for an evaluation by a coach. For those swimmers not quite ready to participate on the team, swim lessons will be available with our coaches. If interested in lessons, we ask that you reach out and coordinate times and payment with the coaches directly.

We will participate in 5 live meets – 2 home meets and 3 away meets. There will also be a Divisional Meet and Straehles – these are invitation meets with time qualifications. Swim practice will start on May 28th at 5:00. There will be an additional week of practice from July 21st-25^th for those swimmers who qualify for Straehles (Wed. July 23rd) or will be representing Dulaney at the Divisional Meet (Sat July 26^th). There will be practice every morning Monday – Thursday and evening practices on Monday and Wednesdays.  

Our team cannot run without parent volunteers. Each family will be expected to volunteer throughout the season. 

Registration fees for 2025 are below. You will be required to register each swimmer with AAU using the W3D8A5 Dulaney Swim Club prior to completing your online registration on our website. All team information, such as events, volunteer signups, etc, will be found on this website as well. To access the site, simply go to our pool's website and select the "Dive & Swim Team" tab. Registration opens May 1^st!

2025 Fee Schedule

 Our vendor will be on site for fitting and suit order, plus other swim gear you may need. The swimsuit vendor will be available on Monday, June 2nd at the first full practice.
