All new Stingers ages 10 and under must join us for a swim evaluation at The Commons Pool on Tuesday May 27, 2025 between 5:00-7:00 PM. Swimmers must be able to meet Burke Centre Swim Club performance criteria based on Red Cross Level III standards and must be comfortable in the water. In the event that a swimmer does not pass the evaluation, registration fees will be refunded. New swimmer evaluations are to ensure safety in the pool and proper practice placement. Swimmers that were "Minis" in 2024 (shallow end the entire season) that would like to be swimming in lanes this summer should also come to Swimmer Evaluation.

Minis must be comfortable getting into and out of the water by themselves without parental assistance. They must be comfortable putting their face in the water and be able to follow instructions.
