Barracudas 2021 May Update
Hi Barracuda families,
We are less than a month away from our first practice of the 2021 Season!
Registration: registration will close on May 15th for the 2021 summer swim season. The cost is $165/swimmer. Go to the Barracudas website to sign up: Fairwood Golf & Country Club - Barracudas : (teamunify.com) Reminder – Midlakes is allowing the 2020 graduates to have one more season. So, sign up 2020 seniors!
Team Suits: The team store closes May 17th. Click here to order your suit for the 2021 season https://djsports.com/teams/fairwood Reminder – your swimmer can wear a previous season’s suit. Just like in previous years, your child swim team membership includes a free T-shirt and swim cap. You will need to order your swimmer’s T-shirt on this website. They will be collecting sizes and putting together the orders. So even if you don’t want to order anything else from them, if you want the T-shirt you have to order your child’s size there. Also, the coaches are recommending swimmers purchase their own kickboards as they are unable to share equipment due to Covid restrictions.

Officials Needed: Our meets cannot be run without our amazing Swim Officials. Are you an official or have you wanted to be one? Please let us know!
Parent Orientation Meeting: This virtual meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 26th at 7pm. The online link will be emailed out the week of the meeting
Practices: Practices will start the first week of June 1st.
Practice Meet: Due to Kent’s graduation day, we have changed the practice meet date to June 12th. This will be held in the morning.
First Swim Meet: Our first week of meets will be held the week of June 21st. We will have a full schedule available at the Parent Orientation Meeting.
We can’t wait to see all of you virtually on May 26th!!
