Barracudas 2021 July 22nd Meet
Hello Barracuda fans –
Tonight is our last meet of the season. This has been a fun year and tonight will be no exception – lots of fun to be had! It’s a busy night at the club so please park in Zone 7 (back behind the pool – follow the cart path behind the pool)
Volunteers Needed: We still need 1st Half – 1 stager, 2nd Half – 3 timers, 1 stager and 1 computer timing system helper (will train)
College Meet Fun: tonight’s meet is Senior night. We will celebrate our Seniors and have fun along the way. Dress to support your favorite college!
Parent Relay Today: bring your suits - Jesse Duncan, Jim Lott, Kevin Kooyman, Scott Harer, Melissha Gasca and Stephanie Loehr. Some of you can do 50s and some of you can do 25s - we will make it work so you'll all swim! The parents will race the coaches and the officials!
Coach’s Gift: We would love to do something extra to thank our wonderful coaches. If you’re able to, we’d suggest a gift of $5-10 per family but any amount would be greatly appreciated. Mari Mixon is coordinating the coach’s gift. You can Venmo Mari Mixon @mixon-mari or you can give her cash at the meet tonight.
RSVP Team Banquet: Don’t forget to RSVP for our banquet. You’ll see these events when you login to TeamUnify. Please put in the notes how many adults and children you have attending. If you have already RSVP’d and forgot to do this, please login and add this note. This will help the kitchen to have an accurate head count and have enough food for us all.

Timeline:
3:30pm – the pool gate will open and swimmers and their families can come in and set up chairs/small pop-up tents/etc.
4-4:30pm – warm-ups for 10 & Unders
4:30-5pm – warm-ups for 11 & Overs
5pm – Meet starts – 1st half of the meet begins
6:30 – 2nd half of the meet begins
Heat Sheets: These will be posted by the Barracudas bulletin board
Volunteers: when you arrive to the pool, please find our volunteer check-in person – Meghin Margel - and check in. Timer’s meeting will be at 4:40pm. Staging meeting will also be at 4:40pm.
