Congrats to our Raptors swim & dive for placing 10th at the State meet finals on Saturday, behind the All State efforts of Neil Abrahamson who took 5th in State in the 50 Free and 100 Fly in dramatic fashion. Our Relays both won the consolation heats placed 9th in the state as did Aidynn Havermann placing 9th in the 200 IM and the 100 Backstroke. Congrats Raptors for another great season!! Coach Jay

Our Swim and Dive Raptors took second place overall at the Section 3AA finals on Friday night, winning 5 events and sending 4 swimmers to the state meet in 6 events. Congratulations to Section 3AA swimmer of the meet Neil Abrahamson, and his teammates Aidynn Havermann, Poyraz Olgun and Vincent Xiong for all their state qualifying relays and individual efforts! Congratulations to our East Ridge All Sections Divers, Nathan Hegemann and Evan Twisk who placed 8th and 12th respectively in Section 3AA which has 4 of the top divers in the State of Minnesota returning from last year. Our High-flying Raptors got it done in a stacked field putting East Ridge in a great spot going into the Sections Finals swim meet tomorrow night at Two Rivers Aquatic Center at 6pm! Raptors on Top! The East Ridge coaches are so very proud of all our Swimmers and Divers. Lots of lifetime personal bests, final races, and great relay efforts all day Saturday! Our JV Team really went out carrying themselves as champions! For our younger swimmers, we truly hope they come back again next year! We've had some incredible time drops this year, across the board. Tonight our Raptors traveled north to compete with the young and up-and-coming Forest Lake Rangers. The Raptors walked away with their seventh dual meet victory of the year 97 to 85. Captain Neil Abrahamson also walked away breaking the Forest Lake pool record in the 100 Fly by 2 seconds. Next up the last home dual meet of the season against White Bear Lake on Tuesday February 6th at 6pm at OMS. It’s our senior night and we hope to see you there! Raptors on Top! Coach Jay

Despite illness and injuries depleting their roster and entries, our Raptors defeated the Irondale Knights at home tonight 95 to 83. Next week's dual schedule takes our Raptors to Forest Lake on Thursday, February 1st at 6PM. Hope to see you there! Raptors on Top! Coach Jay

Our Raptors descended into the home pool of the Ponies last night and walked away with the ‘W’ edging Stillwater by a score of 102 to 84. The Raptors, with stellar performances from all 4 senior captains, defeated the Mounds View Mustangs last night 92 to 87. Up next is the True Team State meet against 11 of the best teams in the state with a chance for a rematch against the Woodbury Royals, too. The Raptors faced their biggest challenge this season going against an undefeated and very talented Woodbury Royals team. Despite Woodbury breaking two pool records, it was an extremely tight contest. The meet was tied going into the final race of the evening, and the Raptors left everything in the pool, but the final result fell Woodbury’s way, stealing one from the Raptors, 92 to 87.
