Try-Out Information

 
WELCOME BACK PARENTS, SWIMMERS AND NEW MEMBERS!
 
It is with great excitement that we are preparing for the opening and beginning of the another successful KATZ JCC Sharks 2024-2025 Winter swim season! As much as our daily lives may have been challenged over this past year, the silver lining is that families have become stronger, and we now could appreciate the little things in our lives.
 
This coming winter, we hope to have a max of 8 swimmers per lane at our practices and plan on returning to normal with JCC-league dual meets, and championships. We are asking everyone interested in Winter Swim Team to pre-register for our try-outs before September 15th, 16th, & 17th 2025.
 
Our experienced coaching staff works with each swimmer throughout the season on swimming fundamentals, techniques, endurance and cultivating a great team environment! 
 
We encourage and welcome all swimmers to try out for the team. Swimmers will be evaluated based on their individual ability to swim Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke and Butterfly. The ability to dive is preferred but not mandatory to make the team.

Registration is open for our 2025-2026 winter season on September 20th.
