Divisionals

Hello Otters!

 

We have received some information on Divisionals.  This will take place on Saturday, July 19th at the Overlook Community Pool, 301 Golf Drive, Lancaster PA 17601.  Everyone can swim in this meet.

 

The day will be split between age groups.  

Session 1 – 11 & Over (Age Groups: 12&U, 14&U, Open)

 ● Gates Open – 7:00 a.m. 

● Warm-ups begin – 7:00 a.m. (15 minutes per team) 

● Coaches Meeting – 8:00 a.m. 

● Timer’s Meeting – 8:30 a.m. 

● Meet Start – 9:00 a.m. 

Session 2 – 10 & Under (Age Groups: 10&U, 8&U) 

● Warm-ups begin – 1:00 p.m. (10 minutes per team) 

● Coaches Meeting – 1:30 p.m. 

● Timer’s Meeting – 2:00 p.m. 

● Meet Start – 2:30 p.m. 

We will find out our warm-up times by July 16th.

 

Timers - Each team is asked to provide 3 timers for each session. So we need a total of 6 timers. Timers should sign-up via signup genius and will receive free entry. Each team has been assigned specific lanes, so please ask your volunteers to sign-up  only for those lanes assigned to your team. Link for timer volunteers:  5080C4BAFA722A2FB6-56970456-timers

 

We have 2 lanes we need to provide for and a backup timer.  If you would like to split your time we can work that out too. Please let us know that you signed up to be a timer so we know we have all the timers we need and if you will do the entire session or want to split it.

 

Admissions & Concessions Payments - Overlook will accept both cash and card payment for admission fees. Please reference to the site map for admissions entry points. Note that we will also have the concession stand open (card payments only) and food trucks available (cash and/or card payments depending on the vendor). 

 

T-shirts - Shirts will be available for pre-order and purchase on the day of the event. We will share information about pre-orders in the near future once we have it. 

 

Parking - Overlook will have attendants directing parking on the day of the event. A parking map and site map are attached to the meet announcement. We recommend that you share this information with parents prior to the event. 

 

Divisionals are not yet on SportsEngine to sign your swimmer up.  We will have this ready to go in the next few days.
