About Invitationals
MCST attends a few invitationals each season. We compete alongside many other teams, by invitation of the host team. Invitationals may last more than one day. As they are a fundraiser for the host team, they are an additional cost to attend. Due to the financial commitment, entries are final once submitted, with no refunds available. The entries for swimmers are often required to be submitted many weeks in advance of the meet, so please pay close attention to deadlines to join in the fun. There is also usually an additional job commitment associated with attending an invitational.
Unlike dual meets, families will need to OPT IN to attend these invitationals. You can do this on your account profile on this site. As soon as it becomes available, you can also select your swimmer's events for that invitational. If you need any help with choosing the appropriate strokes, please contact Keelan as early as possible.
Invitationals are generally larger than a normal meet, and some even require swimmers to check in with a "clerk of the course" before being able to line up for their race. They may also sell programs and have other vendors and food available on site for additional purchase.
